PLAYMAT is a realistic, fully operational, model-making system. It was developed for the youngest “Do-It-Yourselfers”. PLAYMAT is a real machine, but in spite of it, turning, sawing, drilling and sanding with PLAYMAT is mere “child´s play”. Thousands of enthusiastic children have produced tiny artworks in their schools and during our workshops, thereby testing the suitability of this tool’s diverse variations. Due to the child-proof construction of all the machines, there is no danger of injury. Skillful youngsters can produce their first work pieces even during their pre-school years.
The PLAYMAT kit from CoolTool® contains all the necessary parts for building up to four different, real working machines which are easily assembled:

Wood turning machine - for soft wood with a diameter of up to 30mm.
- Jigsaw - for plywood with a thickness of up to 6mm, Balsa up to 20mm.
- Drilling machine - for the screw drilling of wood.
- Sanding machine - for the sharpening of tools and finishing of work pieces.
The PLAYMAT machine works in the same manner as the bigger machine tools (using a machine bed, sledge, drilling table, etc.), so the little carpenters can be trained, in a safe and playful way, in how the big machines really work.
For the system’s drive, four 1.5 volt batteries are required, but not included. Available options include: a special, child-proof adapter; turning wood; sawing wood; and plenty of detailed construction plans.

With UNIMAT 1, “anyone can build a miniature size scale of the entire world”. Doll houses with perfectly-scaled furniture, historic ship models with turned railings, or gear wheels and a new axle for the radio-controlled car.
Because of its modular construction system, UNIMAT 1 can be assembled into six or more different machine tools, each no larger than a simple sheet of paper, within seconds. The machines have the same features as big industrial machines, the only differences are their size and the 12V drive. With 12,000 rpm, UNIMAT 1 is capable of forming metal, wood and plastics into any shape.
Included in the kit are the components for a jigsaw, diverse variations of wood turning machines, a handheld sander, a stationary sander, and a handheld drilling machine.
For additional machine variations, the CLASSIC kit contains the components necessary for building-up to a stationary drilling machine, a metal turning machine and a horizontal and vertical mill. It also comes with a construction plan book, and the UNIMAT 1 handbook.
Due to the wide range of available accessories, an endless array of other machine tools can be constructed. For the UNIMAT 1 professionalist, a gear mill for building gear wheels is only the beginning. The system even allows for the possible construction of a spiral mill. MetalLine - Precision makes the difference |

After a long period of development we have now been able to extend our Unimat1 system by some full-metal components. The new slides, counter shafts and tail stocks are much more robust and accuracy is improved.
Like the PowerLine, the MetalLine is fully compatable with all parts of the Unimat1 System.
Model makers as well as craftsmen
benefit from advantages like:

By specially boring the aluminium profile, which is used with countershaft and tailstock, aligning of both axes can be guaranteed after mounting the parts in the modular system.
This results in higher accuracy of the machine, without losing the advantages
of the modular system.
In addition, this effect is supported by the full metal longitudinal slide and by the full metalcross slide.

The eInstruction™ Interactive Classroom suite of products boasts a number of unique features not available in competitor products.
All of eInstruction’s products are built “classroom tough” to handle daily wear and tear from use by learners and teachers.
The eInstruction PRS clickers allow students to enter short answers so teachers are not confined to only asking true, false or multiple-choice questions.
Another unique feature is that the eInstruction Board allows students and teachers to use dry erase markers or to capture the results electronically for later use. This is a great characteristic for an interactive whiteboard to have, especially for a teacher who may not have a projector in the classroom for daily use.
